words, art and inspiration

prints with graphics and quotes make me smile. it could even be called an obsession. the combination of font, graphics and text arrangement are so intriguing to me that i cannot get enough. i am always in search of an artistic way of expression that uses beautiful graphics, a quote that makes a statement, or a combination of both.

french paper co., (the paper)  in partnership with csa images (the graphic) created these fabulously beautiful posters.

one of the most ingenious projects i have seen! designer mico combines his love for typography and music with the creation of music philosophy, a weekly graphic interpretation of song quotes. here are a few of my favourites.

as a true lover of portland, i was so excited to find this! portland and other city neighborhood posters can be purchased at ork posters.

in my opinion quotable cards are sans pareil among greeting cards. a mixture of modern fresh design and typography.

any other wednesday

took pictures of the wedding bouquet and it turned out fabulously. i was really quite happy with it, beings that it was the first bouquet i ever made. pics will be posted soon!

on another note, discovered a band today that will be playing at the aladdin theatre wednesday, october 13th. angus & julia stone.



love, love their song paper aeroplane. i have listened to the song three times in a row. the voices of the song flow so beautifully, and the lyrics give me a sense of true nostalgia. here is the music video enjoy ♥
